Sullivan County Council on the Arts Calendar of Events

This calendar is envisioned as a helpful guide for planning events in Sullivan County, as well as a listing of events for local residents and visitors.

The entire year will be kept open on this page. The 2009-11 calendars are archived here.

We would like to see this calendar become as complete as possible, so anyone, in any county organization - please send your info to email.

2012

These are SCCA activities for 2012:

February 18 - Clothesline Art Exhibit, with prizes for children's art, Kiwanis Winterfest at Camp Brule
March 24 - Spring entertainment at the Dar-Way and Highlands care centers
March 31 - 20th annual Youth Art Exhibit awards at Sullivan County Library in Dushore
May 2 - 15th annual Choice of Show purchase of a high school student's artwork for permanent display at the school
May 11 - Simple Gifts, holding an assembly for elementary school students and evening concert for families, high school auditorium, Laporte
May 23 - "Hills and Valleys" high school literary magazine, and annual high school Theater Award
June 8-10 - "At the Forks," the 6th production of the Roving Historical Theater, Forksville Fairgrounds
October 13-14 - annual juried Art Expo at the Sullivan County Fall Festival, Forksville Fairgrounds
October 20 - annual Members' Potluck Dinner, contra dancing, 6 pm., St. Basil's Hall, Dushore
December 8 - Artisans Holiday Sale, 10 am - 4 pm, St. Basil's Hall, Dushore
